Mechanical Engineering

The discipline of Mechanical Engineering provides basis of learning in engineering education and industry, ranging from the design and fabrication of a minute spring in a sophisticated medical instrument to a huge propeller of a marine vehicle. SUSCET has a well established department of Mechanical Engineering, having basic laboratory facilities, workshop backup and a Computer Graphics lab. It has well qualified faculty for providing class room & laboratory instructions and project guidance. The laboratory facilities are available in Heat Transfer studies, vibration and material testing, experiments in fluids and fluid machinery, refrigeration and air conditioning, robotics, CNC trainer lathe etc. Students demonstrate their knowledge and skills through their projects during the final year. SUSCET believes in preparing its graduate mechanical engineers for service in government and private sector with competence. Tender and young minds are moulded into mature professionals in mechanical engineering to serve the nation.
